Life with my boys...

Jo and Amma in the lift. A little girl gets in with her fractured hand in a cast and sling. 

Jo looks at the girl and says "Hey, cute bag!"

Mathew suddenly finds a grey hair on my head (I dont know how he missed them all till now)

Mathew: "Ammaaaa - you have white hair"

Amma: "Yeah kutta" 

Mathew: "Ammaaaa - you are getting old"

Amma: "Yeah kutta" 

He suddenly sits on my lap and hugs me and gives me a kiss - and says "I'll miss you, Amma".

Amma: "Why? Where am I going?"

Mathew: "Heaven!"

Jo is in this phase of trying to tell time by looking at the clock - he talks about the long hand and short hand.

This morning while waiting for the school van, he says "Amma, show me your watch"

I show him my watch and ask him "What time is it kutta?"

Jo: "Hmmmm... I think it's time to go to school"

Mathew just before taking bath: "Amma, I am really hungry, can I eat something before I take bath?"

Amma: "Mathew, by the time you finish bath, I will get your dinner ready

Mathew starts fussing: "Amma, pleeeaase Ammaaa"

Amma: "Mathew, why are you crying - I am just asking for 5 minutes"

Mathew: "Amma, if you were as hungry as I were, you would also be crying"

So Jo has this Transformer backpack which Ammama got him. 

He loves it so much, he takes it to school and when he comes back he takes off all the school things and puts all his favourite toys to take around the house. Come morning, he again takes off all the toys and puts all his school stuff to take to school. 

He has made it a truly "Transformer" backpack

So he asked Mariam chechi to do something for him

Mariam chechi: "Jo, what will you give me if i do it for you?"

Jo: "If you do it, i will NOT punch you"

!!!!

And he was in crowded store, and walking along the aisle with me in the women's section

After a point, I see all the women behind me looking at me strangely - and one of the girls were giggling

Apparently he has been slapping ALL the women's butts on his way down the aisle!!!!

I ask him WHAT he is doing and Jo says "I was keeping my hand out straight and they kept keeping their bums there"

Mathew on getting a lot of spellings wrong, the day before his test. 'Do you know why that happened? Its because I don't have any happiness inside me'

Jo goes to the farm. The lady takes him around and talks about a special kind of fowl. She says it is from China. Joe says "Oh - then that must be Kung Fu Chicken"

Jo in Thevara, finds millipede to play with. Amma keeps telling him to wash his hands each time he finishes playing with it, coz it is dirty. After the nth request from Amma, a fed-up Joe goes and washes the millepede in antiseptic soap. Now NOBODY can say that the millepede is dirty.

Little boy has been asking for grapes and Amma has been refusing saying he has a cold. 
Amma gets dressed to go out; Joe says "Amma, you're looking sooo pretty". 
Amma says Thank you and gives Joe a hug. 
Joe: "I made you feel happy - now you give me some grapes"

Appa: You cannot say 'No' to everything I ask you to do, its very rude and if you do that, I will say 'No' when you ask me for something.

Joe: ok Appa, but I will say 'No' sometimes. Like when you ask 'Joe, did you make this mess'?
